Milk or dark chocolate truffles filled with gianduja cream and rolled in ground, roasted, caramelized hazelnuts.
Every morning, before going to Palazzo Carignano, Count Camillo Benso di Cavour came to Stratta to enjoy his usual cup of hot chocolate. That was something of a ritual to start the working day with a dash of sweetness. Every morning, Stratta's waiters left on the counter a small bowl overflowing with Piedmont hazelnuts, as they knew that the Count loved to dip them in chocolate.
We drew inspiration from that simple ritual to create a unique truffle that could recreate the magic of that moment. A homage to tradition, a tribute to our city: Turin.
